Although their funding campaign for a deluxe localization on Kickstarter tanked, MonkeyPaw Games and Gaijinworks have announced plans to bring Class of Heroes II to the PSN this fall.
The game will release as a digital download compatible with the PSP and Vita. A follow-up to the 2009 original, Class of Heroes II takes place in the Sword and Sorcery School, where students enroll in one of 10 classes: Novice, Fighter, Swordsman, Ranger, Monk, Ninja, Sorcerer, Puppeteer, Idol, and Mystery Class. Players enter dungeons and battle with up to 12 monsters per encounter.
Victor Ireland, founder of Gaijinworks and ex-president of the now defunct Working Designs, is preparing the English script.
MonkeyPaw is responsible for porting Tomba! to the PSN this summer as a PSone Classic.
