TellTale Games has confirmed that Clementine will return in the second season of The Walking Dead. For those who haven't played the first season, I won't spoil anything for you, but I highly recommend that you play it as it's a great game.
Anyways, let's just say Clementine's role in the second season was sort of left up in the air following the end of Season One; it could really go either way, but TellTale's Chief Executive Dan Connors confirmed that she "will definitely be a part of" the second season. Does this mean she'll be the game's primary protagonist, allowing you to play as her instead of a companion again? It's unknown at this point, but a teaser image of Clem sitting in the rain next to an unknown child character was shown off.
It's been speculated that Clementine would return for the second season, although the recently released 400 Days DLC kind of put that idea on the backburner as it introduced what seems to be an entirely new cast of characters for the next season.
