Fans of open-world cyberpunk games can look forward to next month when indie sensation Cloudpunk lands on all consoles. The PC indie hit will become available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch on October 15th. Check out the new console trailer here!
The only game that comes to mind when hearing cyberpunk is probably CD Projekt Red’s long-awaited action-RPG. But that is set to come out this November if no last-minute delay foils the studio’s plans.
But the cyberpunk genre has more to offer than just Cyberpunk 2077. In fact, Cloudpunk is a great game set in a cyberpunk future and has already proven to be a great game on PC. The game launched this April on Steam and became a hit among players.
Its open-world design that brims with glorious futuristic cyberpunk aesthetics not only won over gamers with its style but a gripping story that portrays a deep and corrupt world set a high standard for indie titles in general.
After six months, Cloudpunk is going to launch across all consoles finally. The lead narrative designer of the game has detailed the setting and its characters in a blog post on the official PlayStation blog, where he readies players for the gritty world of Cyberpunk.
As a newcomer to the sprawling and multi-layered huge city Nivalis, Raina, the game’s protagonist, is a mere delivery driver. But while she’s just learning the kinks of her new job, she discovers dark secrets, conspiracies, and encounters eccentric inhabitants of the world. The world reacts to your decisions and many secrets are waiting for you to be found in Nivalis.
