Co-Op action-miner Deep Rock Galactic leaves Early Access in May

Coffee Stain Studios has announced that their popular co-op shooter Deep Rock Galactic will be fully launching on May 13. The multiplayer game is already a hit on PC and Xbox One and will soon be available in version 1.0. Check out the new trailer to learn more!

Thanks to Steam’s Early Access and Microsoft’s Game Preview programs, gamers already were able to experience the brilliant action of developer Ghost Ship Games for quite a while now. But all good things have to end sometime, or rather, become fully-fledged! That’s what’s going to happen in two weeks when Deep Rock Galactic leaves Early Access and Game Preview.

Sony’s dated stance with regards to the widespread development model sadly meant that PlayStation users were left in the dust for over two years since the game was available. But with the game soon reaching version 1.0, the game could now theoretically make its way onto the platform, too. But for now, it’s PC & Xbox gamers’ turn.

While Deep Rock Galactic shines brightest when played with a team of 4 players, solo gamers can also go on action-filled mining expeditions with the help of an AI bot that can be commanded by the player. So, there’s something for every type of gamer.

Unlike many other Early Access titles that increase their price upon releasing, Deep Rock Galactic will keep its budget price of $29.99. A very welcome decision that ought to put a smile on money-conscious users.
