Code Name: S.T.E.A.M. details four characters

During today's Nintendo Direct, four characters were revealed and detailed for the upcoming 3DS turn-based strategy/real-time combat game Code Name: S.T.E.A.M.

In Code Name: S.T.E.A.M., from the makers of Fire Emblem, Steam is a finite resource that fuels all of your actions. You'll put together a team of four characters, and as you play through the campaign, you'll unlock new team members with new abilities — maybe even Abe Lincoln.

The four characters that were shown are:

• Henry Fleming – has a three-burst rifle, and his special eagle strike hurls an explosive eagle to deal damage.
• Lion – uses the Lion Launcher to shoot and put him high into the battlefield, where he can stomp on his enemies.
• Tiger Lily – launches healing compounds, and her special significantly heals allies.
• Tom Sawyer – knocks enemies away and stuns them with his punch gun. His special, Hijinx, tosses landmines around an area.

Code Name: S.T.E.A.M. is coming to the Nintendo 3DS in Spring 2015.
