Codemasters preparing to announce new Rally game, possibly for iOS

Codemasters is preparing for what seems like an unveiling of a new Colin McRae Rally game, if a series of tweets are to be believed.

Rich Eddy, the publisher's communications director, took to his Twitter promising a new announcement tomorrow that will "bring back lots of memories." He then followed that tweet with a not-so-suble image of a car that appears to be the exact same Ford Focus WRC that appeared in the Colin McRae Rally 2.0 released in 2000. If that weren't enough proof, the folks over at Gamerzines have pointed out that the font looks "very similar" to the type used on that game's box art as well.

Over at Pocket Gamer, they checked out New Zealand's iOS store (where it is already June 27th) to see if anything popped up. They found an iOS release titled Colin McRae Rally for iPad and iPhone. So is this new announcement all for a new mobile title?
