It's practically a given in Hollywood that when a film does even remotely well, the studio behind it will immediately start planning a sequel. As is the case with Men in Black. Following the success of Men in Black 3, Columbia Pictures President mentioned the possibility of a fourth installment of the popular franchise.
In the same interview with THR where Doug Belgrad hinted at the possibility of a new Jumanji movie, the Columbia Pictures President also dropped a hint about a fourth Men in Black film.
"We're very pleased with the financial performance of Men in Black 3, and we believe it is an ongoing franchise," Belgrad said.
"We're going to do [another one], but we don't have clarity yet on how it should be done."
Belgrade also revealed one of the mandates of the company is to get more into family films, including the Smurfs and Jumanji.
