Commodore 64 Ready for a Comeback

Commodore 64 replicas ship next week, so retro gamers should be lining up to get their hands on one. Don’t be fooled by the “retro” label–this computer-in-a-keyboard packs a tiny punch. For $895, the top-end C64x Ultimate version will come with an Intel Atom D525 1.8GHz Dual-Core processor, NVIDIA ION2 GPU, 4GBs of memory, Wi-Fi support, Blu-ray drive, a 1TB hard drive, and 1080p output via HDMI. That’s not a bad little deal for retro gaming junkies and mobile PC enthusiasts.

The Commodore 64 replica releases next week.
