Confirmed: Watch Dogs to release on May 27

Ubisoft has confirmed that Watch Dogs, the highly anticipated hacker-centric adventure, will be released on May 27, 2014. Following rumors that stemmed from a leaked trailer on Xbox 360, the developer took to Twitter just now to formally announce the date.

As a reminder, this release date should only apply to the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC versions of the game. The Wii U version was delayed back in February.

Ubisoft also released a new trailer today detailing more about the story and characters of Watch Dogs.

Amazon also has an exclusive pre-order incentive that includes the Signature Shot Pack, which comes with an extra single player mission that rewards players with a new outfit and a Biometric Assault Rifle.
