Is Lords of the Fallen part of the Xbox Ultimate Game Sale or not? Not even the developer knows.
According to Deck13, Lords of the Fallen was "supposed to be" featured in this week's massive Xbox sale, but there appears to be some sort of mixup as the action-RPG was there "for a few hours and then got pulled."
That's not the only confusing part, though. Microsoft then confirmed to Videogamer.com that Lords of the Fallen is "not part of the Ultimate Game Sale" — despite having been initially included. In a statement provided, Microsoft claimed "'Lords of the Fallen' on Xbox One is not part of the Ultimate Game Sale Feb. 17-23," and referenced the sale's hub page for the full list of titles available through the promotion.
However, in the comments section of Xbox Achievements, one user claims to have contacted Xbox support which claims that Lords of the Fallen will be listed this weekend at the sale price.
Xbox Support confirmed that at least some additional games will be available this weekend in a response tweet to Deck13, but didn't disclose if Lords of the Fallen is part of that.
Kind of weird that not even the developer of the game knows what's going on, right?
