Contrast has surpassed 1 million downloads on the PlayStation 3 and PS4, most likely due to free access through PlayStation Plus the past few months.
Compulsion Games' debut title Contrast, a puzzle-platformer, launched mid-November on the PlayStation Store as well as PC and Xbox 360. It was glitchy enough for the indie developer to patch in some fixes post-release.
Downloads don't equal sales, so it's a mystery how many people have bought the game versus simply downloaded it with their PlayStation Plus membership, which lets them play it for free.
Right now, Contrast is going half-price (about $7) as part of Sony's flash sale, which is running now through Friday.
