Towards the end of April the Xbox One saw a minor system update that brought a number of small fixes to the console. The minor update was expected to be preparing consoles for the late May/early June update that will be available to Preview Program members before it makes its full release.
Amidst all of the updates, Microsoft's digital assistant, Cortana, has been spotted a number of times. However, the feature was not fully implemented for Preview Program members to test.
During Microsoft's 'This Week on Xbox' YouTube program (as seen above), Cortana was once again spotted – except this time she was featured on the Xbox One dashboard. The contents of the coming Xbox One system update have not been detailed, however, it has been linked the Windows 10 Anniversary Update and said to bring 'key gaming features.'
In addition to that, the dashboard appears to be logged into Larry 'Major Nelson' Hryb's who would likely have access to an unreleased preview build.
Cortana can be seen on the lower right hand corner.
The Windows 10 Anniversary Update will bring changes to Cortana – if it is indeed linked to the coming update, then we will probably see Cortana implemented soon.
