Costume Quest comes to iOS — DLC not free after all

Double Fine has put its adventure role-playing game Costume Quest on the App Store as an early treat for Halloween. It costs $5.

Costume Quest, which debuted in 2010 on consoles and later came to PCs, is literally a game about trick-or-treating. A monster kidnaps your twin, and you're on rescue duty. The power of imagination turns the kids into whatever creature they're dressed as, like a robot or a knight in armor.

The mobile version offers the downloadable chapter "Grubbins on Ice" for an extra $2 — not free like the description makes it sound, according to NeoGAF. The DLC originally dropped alongside a patch for performance fixes.
