Information on the possibility of a new live action He-Man / Masters of the Universe movie has been everything but abundant. I know those hardcore He-Man fans out there have bene waiting with baited breath for any and everything. Well, today is your day you loyal fans you.
DeVon Franklin, the Senior VP of Production at Columbia Pictures (one of those divisions of Sony) tweeted some kitty gold. The rumor has been going around that this very well could be He-Man trusted mount – the Battle Cat. You know what, I’m willing to believe that. True or not, this picture is pretty awesome. Not only does the cat look awesome, but the light-leathery armor is a really nice touch.
Just maybe this will be what opens the floodgates of live action He-Man goodness. One can hope right? If not, that cat best be in some other potentially awesome film. Until then, enjoy this classic gem from the dark side of YouTube. It’s been a while (hopefully).
