Something is cooking on the official Baldur’s Gate website. Recently a countdown has appeared on the main page leading to speculation that we are about to hear some concrete news about the project developer Beamdog has already confirmed which is set to bridge the two existing games and is being referred to as Adventure Y.
While this isn’t going to reveal itself to be the Baldur’s Gate III we’re all desperately hoping for, earlier in the year Beamdog’s Amber Scott admitted, “We’d be lying if we said we never think about doing a Baldur’s Gate III game, so we won’t say that.”
In the meantime there’s always the Baldur’s Gate: Enhanced Edition to keep us occupied for the next week and a half.
