Countdown site teases new Dragon Ball announcement from Bandai Namco

Bandai Namco has set up a countdown website for a mysterious Dragon Ball project. The site features a mixture of Dragon Ball items, from games to films. According to the site description, the images hold a hint as to what they will be announcing.

Discover lots of Dragon Ball anime and video game visuals before the countdown ends. Also you may find a hint among those visuals.

The images on the site basically depict different arcs of the Dragon Balls franchise, with two images that don't quite fit in. If you sit on the site long enough, you'll see two images of slightly destroyed buildings set under dark skies and rain.

That might not mean much, but the common thought is that this site is teasing Xenoverse 2 or the Western localization of Dragon Ball Fusion. Both games have some merit to them, consider Xenoverse's success and the lack of Western Fusions localization.

In addition to the lack of Fusions in the West, the game features a storyline that relies heavily on a world that is a mixture of different worlds and times from the Dragon Ball franchise. Time and space have been altered in Fusions, allowing for players to meet characters from any time in the series.

Luckily we won't have to wait to long to discover the secret of the site. The countdown is set to expire tomorrow, May 17th.

Check out the countdown for yourself here.
