Cowboy Bebop creator’s ‘Blade Runner Black Out 2022’ anime short to release September 26

It was announced last week that the Cowboy Bebop creator and director would be working on a Blade Runner anime that would effectively bridge the gap between Blade Runner and Blade Runner 2049. This anime, titled Blade Runner Black Out 2022, will be something like the Blade Runner 2036 and 2048 short, meaning that it will only be a few minutes long.

We will be able to watch Blade Runner Black Out 2022 on Crunchyroll and VRV beginning on Tuesday September 26th, at 4:49am PST in regions worldwide except Asia. You can catch up on the released shorts below.
