Microsoft has announced that the next set of free games for Xbox LIVE Gold subscribers will be Crackdown, Dead Rising 2 and Dead Rising 2: Case Zero.
Starting August 1, Crackdown (normally 800 MP) will be free to download through August 15. On August 16, both Dead Rising 2 (Normally $14.99) and its prologue, Dead Rising 2: Case Zero (normally 400 MP) will be free through the end of the month. With Dead Rising 3 on its way to the Xbox One, now might be the perfect time to dive into the zombie slaughterfest.
The relatively new Games with Gold program provides Xbox LIVE Gold members with two free games a month. Last month's games were Defense Grid: The Awakening and Assassin's Creed 2, the latter of which is still available to download until the end of the day.
