Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy director working on unannounced game

The Crash Bandicoot trilogy remaster for the PlayStation 4, Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy, was a fairly well-received game when it released last year. The game was so popular upon release that it outsold every game in June 2017, in just two days.

The director behind the game, Dan Tanguay, appears to have moved on to another project at Vicarious Visions. According to an update on Tanguay’s LinkedIn profile, the developer is working as a Lead Designer on an unannounced project.

While there’s no suggestion as to what Tanguay is working on, it should be noted that Vicarious Visions works with the Skylanders franchise, Destiny 2 (PC port), Guitar Hero, and Crash Bandicoot.

Tanguay previously worked on a Skylanders game, which means that this unannounced title could very well be a Skylanders game.

There’s plenty of hope from the gaming community that Tanguay is working on a Spyro remaster, but no indication of that. Activision has plenty of IPs in its catalog to choose from!
