Create a Smackdown vs. Raw Superstar, Get a Custom Mattel Action Figure

WWE fans looking to create the next big icon in (virtual) wrestling entertainment will finally get their chance thanks to Mattel and THQ.

Via the Community Creations feature in Smackdown vs. Raw 2011 (only available on the 360 and PS3 versions), players can upload their in-game custom superstars to the community website and enter a contest to win an extremely unique action figure from Mattel based on their design.

From THQ: A robust Community Creations gallery on the website enables each player to post and share up to four screenshots with others. The gallery includes a number of categories to search through items, including Created Superstars, Action Shots, Finishers, Signs, Tattoos and Miscellaneous, as well as the ability to sort by an individual Username or custom description tags created by the players. In addition, players can take advantage of connectivity across social media to praise creations, leave comments and share their favorites with friends.

Along with game-to-web functionality, THQ is partnering with Mattel to give one lucky consumer the opportunity to win a one of a kind action figure based on a Created Superstar design using WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2011. Players will be able to select one of their four screenshots shared in the Community Creations gallery to be entered in the contest. The contest is expected to run for approximately one month, with a winner slated to be chosen at the beginning of next year.

Why didn’t Namco ever do this with Soulcalibur IV? I created some of the craziest $%^& seen on a TV since the 70’s!
