Crimsonland gets Xbox One release date and free trial

Developer 10Tons, creator of Sparkle Unleashed, has announced that their top down shooter Crimsonland will be releasing this month on Xbox One. It will come with a free trial for those who are unsure of whether they want to purchase the gore-filled game. Should you choose to jump into the carnage of Crimsonland, it'll be available for $13.99.

Crimsonland is an intense top-down shooter. It's highlight is the classic Survival, where the screen will be filled with literally hundreds of monsters. The Xbox One version features a full chapter of 10 brand new levels, a dangerous new enemy type and a new survival game mode.

“We're thrilled to bring Crimsonland to Xbox One. It's a genuine cult classic and will surely make an impression on shooter fans just in time for the launch of our next shooter, Neon Chrome, early next year," said Tero Alatalo, 10Tons CEO.

Crimsonland will feature a campaign type mode with over 70 levels along with six different horde/wave type modes each with their own unique features. Over 30 weapons are included with more than 55 upgrades in total in order to deliver maximum carnage to your enemies. There is no online multiplayer, but 4 player co-op is in Crimsonland.

Get ready to roll out on October 14th as Crimsonland makes its Xbox One debut.
