EA Sports has announced that Portugal forward Cristiano Ronaldo will be the highest-rated footballer in their upcoming FIFA 17 video game.
The two-time Balon D'Or winner scooped both a Champions League and EURO 2016 medals this year, following a tremendous campaign for club and country.
Such a successful season for Ronaldo has been awarded with a 94 overall rating, with Lionel Messi (93) and his Barcelona counterpart Neymar (92) just behind.
Lionel Messi, a four-time Balon D'Or winner in his own right, has been at the very top of the player ratings charts for the last few years, but has been downgraded by one since last year's title. Neymar, however, has received an upgrade of four since FIFA 16, where has was previously rated at 88.
