Developer Brace Yourself Games announced today its hardcore roguelike rhythm game Crypt of the NecroDancer will arrive on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita next month.
Crypt of the NecroDancer will make its PlayStation debut on February 2, 2016, bringing its unique twist to 2D dungeon crawling to a massive new audience. Crypt of the NecroDancer is a procedurally generated roguelike dungeon crawler that relies on rhythm for its movement and combat. You'll explore four unique zones, each with a different gameplay experience, collecting gear and defeating "musically motivated monsters." As you complete the game, you'll unlock new characters who offer different challenging gameplay modes. Of course, Trophies will be offered, but the real kicker is the PS4 version will support dance pad gameplay.
Crypt of the NecroDancer hasn't been priced yet, but will feature cross-buy support, meaning if you purchase it on PS4 or Vita you'll get it on the other platform for free.
We reviewed Crypt of the NecroDancer when it first released on PC back in May 2015, calling it "a genius blend of two very different genre, coming together to form an extremely addicting dungeon crawler with a musical motif."
