Custom SNES-themed sneakers in development

Marty McFly’s infamous Back to the Future self-lacing sneakers may be a thing of glory, but someone has decided to up the custom sneaker ante by creating a pair of SNES-inspired digs.

Custom sneaker maker, Sneaker Freaks has created a limited supply of Air Jordan’s based on the classic 90’s gaming console. The shoes sport a glossy gray color throughout, with the tongue featuring the console's PAL version logo.

The shoes also have official SNES control buttons and d-pads on the heels, and they’re pressable if you’re feeling very Captain-N-ish.

No price point has been announced, but NikeKicks says you can expect them to come out in the near future starting with ten pairs.
