Cut the Rope collection headed to 3DS

Om Nom is chomping down hard on the 3DS this spring.

Developer ZeptoLab is preparing to launch Cut the Rope: Triple Treat on Nintendo's handheld. As you can guess from the title, it's a three-game collection that consists of the original Cut the Rope puzzler — which has been downloaded over 400 million times across iOS and Android — and two of its standalone expansions: Experiments and Time Travel.

The bundle won't include the Christmas-themed Holiday Gift, which debuted in 2010 shortly after the series' introduction in October that year, or the recent sequel, Cut the Rope 2.

Triple Treat boasts a whopping 650 levels between the three adventures, or approximately 50 hours of gameplay, according to ZeptoLab. It will also include online leaderboards, in-game achievements, and the animated Om Nom Stories.

The original Cut the Rope also came to the 3DS eShop last August.
