The CW network reveals the first official image of the new Vixen for the upcoming season of 'DC's Legends of Tomorrow'.
It was recently announced that not only would 'DC's Legends of Tomorrow' be returning for their second season with the introduction of the Justice Society of America, but they would also be adding to their roster of heroes themselves. Among the new teammates will be Vixen, the animal-spirit wielding hero, first introduced on the CW Seed's animated series.
The network decided to make Vixen a series regular after her highly-successful special appearance on 'Arrow'. Unfortunately, due to a scheduling conflict, actress Megalyn Echikunwoke would not be able to reprise her role. Thanks to some creative time-travel roundup courtesy of team leader, Rip Hunter, the new Vixen will be portrayed by Maisie Richardson-Sellers aka Amaya Jiwe, who happens to be Mari McCabe's (Vixen) grandmother.
