Cyberpunk 2077 gets new trailer, screenshots, and more

CD Projekt RED has graced us with tons of new details and videos of their upcoming action-RPG Cyberpunk 2077. With the first episode of the Night City Wire we get to see an entirely new area of the open-world game. Make absolutely sure to watch the entire video here!

The arguably biggest standout in this first Night City Wire is the Badlands. The desert outskirts of the hyper-futuristic Night City which has been the focus of most Cyberpunk 2077 media up until now. But this vast area is anything but deserted. It’s rather a place where different types of people, outcasts call their home. Instead of just being able to visit this place and interact with it, the developer has confirmed that players will be able to start the game as a Nomad in the Badlands. The possibilities of replay have our moths watering already.

If you’re for whatever reason not interested in spending 25 minutes watching the entire video above, you ought to enjoy this short “The Gig” trailer that tries to compress a lot of it into a more easily digestible length.

Besides the breadth of gameplay footage, we also get several impressive screenshots of Cyberpunk 2077, courtesy of the developer, and Nvidia, who have shared images that show their GPU exclusive RTX ray tracing features.

Anticipation is reaching a fever high for what is shaping up to become one of the best games for this generation. This media blowout also helps soothe over the unfortunate second delay of Cyberpunk 2077. The new release date stands as November 19th for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X versions are expected to come out with the launch of next-gen consoles and will be free upgrades to existing owners.
