Cyberpunk 2077’s map of Night City leaks as game goes Gold

Wake up Samurai

Oh boy, you know we’re close to a big game’s launch when premature leaks start happening. And what game is more anticipated these days than CD Projekt RED’s open-world action-RPG Cyberpunk 2077? The new leak contains a physical print of the full map of Night City, the game’s major playground. Suffice to say, if you plan on going in untainted you might want to stay clear of checking out the map.

Official Cyberpunk 2077 physical map and postcard set

Throughout multiple Night City Wire episodes, the developer made good work of setting up the world, factions, and gameplay mechanics of Cyberpunk 2077. One key aspect and arguably biggest ‘character’ is the sprawling megacity itself.

Consisting of various districts that not only differ in visual style but reflect the status of its inhabitants, navigating Night City is a key part of the Cyberpunk experience. As such, the recent leak of what looks to be official goodies that show the entirety of the world map is a big deal (via Resetera).

It’s a sleek physical map that does a great job of conveying the physicality of the world without drowning you in menial details. Just the way we like it to personally get acquainted with each back alley.

After numerous delays, the mere fact that there are people already out there who got their hands on physical goodies alongside the official confirmation from the developers that Cyberpunk 2077 went gold are a great relief for gamers who still feared that a last-minute delay would happen.

But as it stands, you’ll be living out your Cyberpunk 2077 fantasies in the streets of Night City as planned on November 19th when the game launches on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Google Stadia. Next-gen versions for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series are slated to come out in 2021 and will be free upgrades for existing owners.
