Star Wars: The Force Awakens propelled 23-year-old British actress, Daisy Ridley, into being one of the most recognizable faces of the year (so far). Ridley is currently shooting in the next installment in the Star Wars series, Episode 8, but that doesn't mean she isn't in talks for other roles.
A couple of weeks ago, Ridley was rumored to be in talks with Warner Bros and MGM to be Lara Croft in the Tomb Raider reboot. Well, it's official – Ridley is in talks for the role, but has yet to be offered the role of Croft.
Speaking with THR Ridley has confirmed that “have been conversations,” but is still "waiting for someone to say ‘I want you, let’s do it'.” According the actress, the Tomb Raider reboot has yet to have script, although she would "absolutely" take the role if it were offered to her as she's "trying to fill up" her calendar.
