The highly anticipated reboot movie of the total badass icon: Lara Croft might have found its new lead character.
According to Deadline, the 23-year-old Brittish actress, Daisy Ridley, is currently being eyed in Warner Bros and MGM's reboot of Tomb Raider as Lara Croft.
The actress starred in her first major film back in December as Rey in Star Wars The Force Awakens. The film is still in early production so the studio is keeping a broad view on who to cast for the main role.
Angelina Jolie played the previous version of the classic hero back in 2001, but the reboot is looking to take inspiration off of Square Enix' rebooted Tomb Raider series younger take on the character.
