NIS America has confirmed that it will be localizing Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair within mere days of the first game's North American release.
Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc, an enhanced version of the original Japanese visual novel, came to PlayStation Vita on Feb. 11. It earned an 8 out of 10 from us and has received positive reviews from other critics as well. Publisher NIS America didn't waste any time jumping on a localization of the sequel, which will hit Vita in the fall.
The basic premise is fairly similar to the first game: Danganronpa 2 puts players in a life-or-death situation as a high school student who must work together with his fellow "ultimates" to survive. Only this time, you're on an island under the guidance of a lovey-dovey teacher when Monokuma, the previous game's villain, returns.
Murder is once again the only means of escape.
