Danganronpa visual novel getting revamped for Vita in February

NIS America is localizing an revamped version of murder-mystery visual novel Danganronpa, which first released for PSP in Japan in 2010. It's coming to PlayStation Vita on Feb. 11.

Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc boasts improved graphics, a new game mode, and touch-screen support. Players find themselves trapped inside Hope’s Peak Academy, where a psychotic bear named Monokuma has taken over and locked the school down. The only escape is to get away with murder — or catch the killer first.

Gameplay involves Phoenix Wright-esque investigations and storytelling similar to 999 and Zero Escape, according to the publisher.
