If you were to ask 007 star, Daniel Craig, months ago whether or not he was making a cameo appearance in Star Wars: The Force Awakens, he would have vehemently denied it. "Why would I ever bother doing something like that?” said Craig. “F—ing hell! Pffft. Play an extra in another movie.”
The only reason Craig was put in the position to defend himself was because actor Simon Pegg outed his cameo in May. "I wasn't a Stormtrooper. Daniel Craig, he was a Stormtrooper," said Pegg to The Sun before realizing his mistake. "I shouldn't have said that."
As it turns out Craig is in the film, as confirmed by EW. You might have a tough time spotting him, as Stormtroopers tend to look alike, but he is definitely in it. To keep things spoiler free, we won't detail where he is or what he'd doing, but you'll find him in a pinnacle scene from the film.
