Daniel Craig is joining the Dark Side in Star Wars: The Force Awakens

Simon Pegg accidentally reveals Craig's part in the new Star Wars film

James Bond is about to join the Dark Side. According to slip-up from fellow actor Simon Pegg, Daniel Craig (Skyfall) will have a role in the upcoming film Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens.

Speaking to The Sun newspaper at the premiere of Man Up in London, Pegg, who is also rumored to have a part in the highly anticipated movie, accidentally revealed that Craig will play a Stormtrooper in the highly anticipated Star Wars film. "I wasn't a Stormtrooper. Daniel Craig, he was a Stormtrooper," Pegg said before realizing his mistake.

"I shouldn't have said that," he said quickly.

Though this is the first I've heard of it, it has apparently been known that Craig will have a small cameo in the The Force Awakens. Still, up until now, his role was a mystery. According to an inside," Daniel asked for some sort of secret cameo role – and was happy to have his name left off the posters.

"Fans will love trying to work out which covered up character is him."

Recently, Craig has been filming Spectre, the follow-up to Skyfall, which will also star Ralph Fiennes as M, Monica Bellucci, Christoph Waltz, Andrew Sctott, Naomie Harris and Ben Whishaw.
