Daredevil will be going against The Punisher in Season 2

In the beginning of the month it was revealed that The Walking Dead's Jon Bernthal was cast as The Punisher in season 2 of Marvel's Daredevil. Bernthal's role in The Walking Dead was as Shane, the guy that had a bit of a mean streak (admittedly it might have been from the stress with Lori).

Bernthal's role as The Punisher will not be as a character working with Daredevil, but as someone Daredevil finds himself up against in season 2.

The friction between the two is understandable, regardless of the fact that they share a common goal; cleaning up the streets of Hell's Kitchen. The Punisher will be dolling out death, which is something that Daredevil is against. They could set aside their differences and go against a bigger, more major villain – but there has been no reveal that suggests that thus far.

We will be seeing season 2 on Netflix sometime next year.
