Dark’s first DLC ‘Cult of the Dead’ strikes this December

Developer Realmforge Studios' vampiric stealth game Dark is getting its first bite of downloadable content next month.

Cult of the Dead arrives Dec. 5 for PC (and Xbox 360 shortly after) and costs $5. In the new mission, protagonist Eric Bane discovers the Book of the Dead, which grants its reader the power to control death and its creatures. It should give Bane the information he needs to learn about his own vampire kind and help him destroy new Necromancer enemies and M17 vampire hunters.

Players can also flex their skills on five new maps in challenge mode and fight a new opponent, the sniper, and boss, the Cultist.

Dark launched in July.
