I know, I know, Dark Souls II Crown of the Ivory King DLC is the last of this whole crown trilogy. While you’re chomping at the bit to get your regicide on, unfortunately you’re going to have to wait another week. God save the King(s)! Instead of this DLC coming out September 23rd-24th, it’s releasing the 30th-1st. This delay is across all available consoles: Xbox 360, PS3, and PC.
The fact that this delay has occurred in Japan (Famitsu) as well is good hint that there was some fashionable issue involved. I’ve personally always subscribed to the philosophy to delay games if there is an issue instead of releasing it on time and broken as hell. Sure the wait sucks, but game-breaking bugs can totally ruin your impressions. Dark Souls II, I’ll wait. Don’t disappoint.
