Dark Souls may go on sale pretty often, but its successor Dark Souls 2 hasn't seen as many yet.
Amazon is looking to lighten things up with a nice sale on the PC download version of the game.
First off, if you haven't heard, Dark Souls 2 is pretty great. The second our reviewer finished the game, he started it again…There's just too much to do. It's simply not a "a beat it and leave it sort of game." Now, about the Amazon discount… Amazon has it sitting at $27.99 right now, listed for 44% off of the original price of $49.99. This steep discount is only for a PC download of the game. The Collector's Edition is also on sale, but it's not quite as big of a sale — $60.55 instead of $74.99.
