The boxed release of Dark Souls 2 on PC has been delayed in the UK, Bandai Namco confirmed. It'll now be released on May 2, while the digital version remains on track for April 25.
"This is only affecting the UK on the boxed release of the game," Namco told MCV. "It will be delayed unfortunately and we apologize to UK customers. This is due to a manufacturing issue with packaging. To confirm this will only affect the UK boxed launch."
Earlier this month, we had the opportunity to preview the PC version of Dark Souls 2. Previewer, and GameZone EIC, Mike Splechta, wrote: "With a solid and completely smooth framerate with no screen tearing issues and a much higher and crisper resolution, this is how Dark Souls 2 is meant to be experienced."
