The PC version of Dark Souls 2 will be released on April 25, according to a leaked image revealing a Collector's Edition of the game. The image was posted by Siliconera who also noted that the PC version will have "four times higher graphic resolution and run at 60 frames per second."
The Collector's Edition of Dark Souls 2 on PC is said to contain a collectible art book, authentic cloth game map, official t-shirt, and Black Armor Weapon Set DLC.
If the release date is accurate (we've yet to hear confirmation from Bandai Namco) then this would mean PC gamers would have to wait about a month longer than their console brethren. Until we officially see the press release from Bandai Namco I'm going to remain skeptical, especially since "Armor" is spelled wrong in the image (see: Black Amour).
I reached out to Bandai Namco regarding the rumored release date and they responded: "We haven't announced a release date yet – We'll have more info on that soon though!"
