Dark Souls 3: Ashes of Ariandel gets first trailer and details

We knew there was an announcement for Dark Souls 3 planned for today, unfortunately, Sony spoiled a bit of that surprise. Regardless of Sony revealing the release date ahead of time and a Japanese magazine detailing the announcement, it's official, the first Dark Souls 3 DLC is coming.

On October 25th, 2016, Ashes of Ariandel will be releasing on the PlayStation 4. The Ashes of Ariandel DLC will be bringing new armor sets, weapons, and magic to the game, as well as a new location and plenty of fun for PvP players.

According to the Season Pass details, only two content updates are planned for Dark Souls 3. The $25 Season Pass will cover both sets of DLC, however, no standalone price has been revealed yet.
