Dark Souls 3 confirmed and revealed for 2016

In the beginning of June a rumor started spreading that Dark Souls 3 would be revealed at during E3 2015. According to sources game director Hidetaka Miyazaki would be back in the lead of the Dark Souls franchise after taking a break to direct Bloodborne and act as the supervisor instead of game director on Dark Souls 2.

Soon after that rumor made its rounds, an image thought to be game art for Dark Souls 3 confirmed that the game would be released in early 2016, making the E3 reveal even more likely than ever.

It is now official, Dark Souls 3 has been revealed for a 2016 release and is set to release on the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
