Dark Souls 3 network test coming next month

Bandai Namco, in addition to the release date announcement for Dark Souls 3, has also announced that the game will hold a network test next month. It will be for PS4 users only in order to test out the multiplayer servers, game balance and other performance issues.

You can sign up for one of the limited number of spots available on the official entry page and will receive an email if selected. Just to be sure your selection doesn't get routed to your spam folder, you can also check the winners on the page as well. Take note of the test times though as noted below they begin fairly late at 11pm Pacific. This equates to 2am Eastern and 7am UK time.

As noted earlier this morning, Dark Souls 3 releases March 24th, 2016 in Japan and on an unannounced date in April 2016 everywhere else on both PS4 and Xbox One

• Test #1 – Friday, October 16th, 2015 at 8:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. PDT
• Test #2 – Saturday, October 17th, 2015 at 8:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. PDT
• Test #3 – Sunday, October 18th, 2015 at 8:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. PDT
