Dark Souls 3 is still a few months away, but Bandai Namco has given fans an early look at the game's opening cinematic. Watch it above. Or don't, I know you Dark Souls fans like these sorts of things to be a surprise.
If you do choose to spoil the intro for yourself, the impressive cinematic welcomes you to the Kingdom of Lothric, where surprises (and your probabl death) lurk behind every corner.
The dark and eery kingdom serves as the setting for the game, and the opening cinematic gives you a sneak peek at some of the characters and creatures you'll meet along the way (Yhorm the Giant, Aldrich Saint of the Deep, Farron's Undead Legion and more).
Yup, certain death definitely awaits you in the Kingdom of Lothric.
