Dark Souls 3 soundtrack CD reveals game’s boss names

*Spoiler alert* ...if names mean a lot to you

Who likes to be suprised anymore? Not many people, clearly. A reddit user, known as bosssessdss has posted some of the names of the bosses that will appear in the upcoming and hotly anticipated Dark Souls III based on details from the game's soundtrack.

The names are as follows:

  • Iudex Gundyr
  • Volde, of the Frigid Valley
  • Curse-Rotted (Ridden?) Greatwood (seen in trailer)
  • Crystal Sages
  • Dragons of the Deep
  • Dancer of the Frigid Valley (seen in the network test)
  • Old Demon King
  • Ozroes(?), the Condemned King
  • Ancient Wyvern
  • Nameless King
  • Abyss Watchers
  • Yhorm, the Giant
  • Aldrich, Devourer of Gods
  • Lothric Elder Prince, Lothric Younger Prince
  • Soul of Cinder
This is not a comprehensive list of all of the game's bosses, so rest assured there will be plenty more to test your will, patience and reflexes.

There were a few more tidbits of information in the comments section, particularly from the thread's top commenter, djplotfellow.

24 tracks on the soundtrack. The first 4 are non-bosses, so the boss track list starts with #5. #24 is "Epilogue," so another non-boss track. I'm curious about #23, which appears to read "Secret _____." Might be a hidden final boss? Or, like Ash Lake / early Yahar'Gul tracks, just background music for an area.
Dark Souls III launches on PC, PS4 and Xbox One on April 12, 2016.
