Dark Souls 3 surpasses 3 million shipments

For a series that won't be getting any more sequels, Dark Souls III is shipping well. The recent number reported by Bandai Namco is 3 million copies. However, for the series as a whole the number is around 13 Million.

The regional numbers reveal that the North American region comes out on top with a total 1.5 million shipments. Europe follows close behind with a solid 1 million followed in third by Japan and the Asia region with 500 thousand copies.

Not too shabby for a game generally thought of as one of the most brutal games available. The game is brutal, in fact, that some members of the community believe the series should feature an 'easy mode.'
