Dark Souls: Artorias of the Abyss DLC screens are scary

Does Dark Souls scare the crap out of anyone else? I mean, it can't just be me, right? I know the game's not a survival horror title, but it's still legit creepy. That moody ambiance, the eerie enemies, that dastardly level of challenge. For me, Dark Souls is a stylistically scary game. Now it's about to get a lot harder for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 owners.

Namco Bandai released some new screenshots of the Artorias of the Abyss DLC. Currently available solely on the PC version of Dark Souls, Artorias of the Abyss will provide more challenges to the game for folks playing on their home consoles.

You can check out the batch of screens in our gallery to the right. See that? It looks like more legitimately scary gameplay. Of course, what makes it so scary is that you just know it's going to be devilishly difficult.

I'm certain a lot of you can't wait.
