Dark Souls Remastered graphics will be ‘adjusted’ for Nintendo Switch

It was revealed that Dark Souls would be getting a remaster last week and that remaster is heading to the Nintendo Switch. Like the last major games to get Switch ports, like Skyrim, there will likely be some compromises to make with the port.

According to Nintendo Japan, Dark Souls Remastered graphics will be adjusted to the console, which likely refers to the game seeing a reduction in resolution and frame rate to its counterparts.

Nintendo did note that the game’s level design will not be changed from the original.

Dark Souls Remastered will be heading to the Xbox One, PS4, PC, and Nintendo Switch on May 25th, 2018. The game will include the main game, as well as the Artorias of the Abyss DLC. In addition to that, the multiplayer will support up to six players on dedicated servers.

The game has been listed by retailers to be priced at $40.
