David Ayer teases Jared Leto getting his hair cut to play The Joker in Suicide Squad

David Ayer, writer and director of Warner Bros.' Suicide Squad movie, teased yesterday on Twitter that something was going to happen today. That something looks like it's going to be a haircut.

Based on DC Comics characters, Suicide Squad follows a group of Batman villains that are recruited by the government to perform dangerous black ops missions. The film stars Will Smith as Deadshot, Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, Cara Delevingne as Enchantress, Jai Courtney as Boomerang, and Viola Davis as Amanda Waller. Tom Hardy was supposed to play Rick Flagg, but he left the project, and now Joel Kinnaman is in talks to take over the role. Meanwhile, playing the Joker will be Jared Leto.

As you may know, Jared Leto has long hair.

But it looks like that long hair is about to go bye-bye. David Ayer tweeted this earlier today:

I doubt that's Margot Robbie's hair about to be cut in that picture. It has to be Leto's. We'll see if Ayer tweets anything else today regarding Suicide Squad.
