David Hasselhoff is a ‘True Survivor’ of the 80s

Kung Fury is ready for #TakeHoff

It's official. David Hasselhoff is the f*cking man. Only he, the (sort of) actor / (sort of) musician, can get away with a song like the one just released today.

It's called "True Survivor," and just as the title suggests, it's as every bit filled with 80's fun and action as you would hope.

Turns out, True Survivor is part of the soundtrack for Kickstarter sensation Kung Fury, an over-the-top action comedy movie that features arcade-robots, dinosaurs, nazis, vikings, norse gods, mutants and a super kung fu-cop called Kung Fury, "all wrapped up in an 80s style action packed adventure."

“The 80s was about fun, action, and heroes,” Hasselhoff said of the film. “Kung Fury has it all! I’m honored to be involved with [director] David Sandberg, an up-and-coming force of nature in the animation digital entertainment world.  The song is perfect for me as I really am, in real life, a True Survivor.”

Kung Fury sounds completely ridiculous, and I'm completely 100% in. The film will be around 30 minutes in length and will be released for free on the internet. Can't wait.
